Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Football Team on their 24-0 win over Rocky Hill on Friday! Touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by Zion Banton (2), Lamont Applewhite (1), and Cameron White (1). The Warhawks will take on Middletown this Friday at Middletown High School at 6:30 p.m.
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer Team who tied East Hartford on Thursday, 2-2. Goals for the Warhawks were scored by Indya Norman and Sarah Premier. The Warhawks are back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17th at home vs New Britain.
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Cross Country Team on their 19-42 win over Newington on Tuesday! The top five finishers for the girls were: D'Asia Duncan, Jahniya Barclay, Soleigh Dixon, Caleah Baker and Joanna Ansah-Okae. The girls will compete in the Harry Geraghty XC Invite this Friday at 5:00 p.m.
This is just a reminder that Bloomfield High School will have a 12:15 p.m. dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11th for Teacher Professional Development. We will also host Open House at 6:00 p.m. and encourage all of our parents to attend.

Please join us for Freshman and New Family Orientation on Monday, August 26th at 6:00 p.m. at BHS. Come share a slice as we welcome you to the BHS Family!
Freshman and New Student Family Orientation will take place on August 26th at 6pm in the Bloomfield High School Courtyard. All incoming freshmen and new Bloomfield High School students and families are welcome. Come to receive schedules, locker combinations, and meet school staff and administration. Refreshments will be served. We look forward to meeting you.
Freshman laptop distribution will be held the week of August 12-16th between the hours of 10-2 p.m. at Bloomfield High School. If you would like to pick up your students device, please feel free to stop by the main office during the indicated hours. In the event that you cannot pick up your child's device during the blocked times - students may stop by the main office, anytime during the first week of school to pick up their device and charger.

Congratulations to BHS Senior, Charles Fennell who has been appointed to the 2024-2025 State Student Advisory Council on Education (SSACE). The SSACE gives Connecticut students a voice in education planning and enables the State Board of Education, the commissioner of education, State Department of Education personnel, the governor, and state legislators to become familiar with high school students' perspectives on key issues.
